FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
VANCOUVER, B.C., October 17, 2026 — ARQS has released KnowledgeOS, a free browser tool for teams that keep project knowledge in README files, notes and scattered pages. Users drop in Markdown or text files, or write pages in the tool, and search all of them at once with relevance ranking, highlighted matches and tags. Lines such as Status and Owner in a README feed a work registry automatically, where each piece of work has one owner: claiming work someone else holds is refused, and a hand-off must include a note on what is done and what comes next. A reconciliation view runs twelve checks, flagging work marked done without an evidence link, claims and reviews that have gone stale, overdue dates, blocked work with no reason, items with no owner, duplicates and READMEs that disagree with the registry, and scores the registry's health out of 100. Teams can export a Markdown status report, a CSV of the registry or the whole workspace. The tool needs no account or purchase, does not connect to other services and saves only in the user's own browser.
