Nvidia has contributed its Vera Rubin rack and compute-tray designs to the Open Compute Project, SDxCentral reports, as part of version 1.2 of its MGX modular reference design.

The specification includes cable- and fan-free liquid-cooled trays, a liquid-cooled 5,000-amp busbar and support for rack deployments of up to 250 kilowatts.

Nvidia also published a separate specification for its Vera CPU rack, which it said has started shipping.
