NorthX Climate Tech expects more than 300 founders, investors, policymakers, researchers and industry partners at Converge 2026 in Vancouver on Nov. 25 to examine what it takes to build and scale climate hard tech companies in Canada.

The gathering coincides with NorthX marking five years of funding Canadian climate hard tech, and is pitched as a chance to take stock of the sector's progress and the capital and policy decisions that will shape its next stage.

The program follows the path from innovation to commercial deployment, with sessions including From First Conversation to First Contract and The Capital Stack for Climate Hard Tech, on how companies win customers and finance growth. Founders, investors and industry leaders will also discuss what it will take to build more hard tech companies, infrastructure and industries in Canada.

Organizers say the event will also give companies and investors from outside B.C. a way to meet the province's climate tech community, find customers and investment partners, and explore setting up or expanding operations in the province.
