Bellevue, Wash.-based hiring technology company Humanly has acquired CareerArc, combining its AI chat, screening and interview tools with CareerArc's software for attracting job applicants. Terms were not disclosed.

Founded in 2009 and based in Burbank, Calif., CareerArc makes HireSocial, which automates job postings on social media, and Job Maps, an interactive career-site tool that lets candidates browse openings by location. "High volume employers have had to piece together their hiring process with a collection of disconnected tools," Humanly co-founder and CEO Prem Kumar said.

The deal extends an acquisition streak that includes employee engagement platform Anthill earlier this year and recruiting tech companies Sprockets, Qualifi and HourWork in 2025. Humanly raised a US$25 million Series B in April and has raised US$52 million in total.

Humanly counts Microsoft, Domino's, Massage Envy, Worldwide Flight Services and MGM Resorts among more than 120 customers. Nine of CareerArc's 13 employees are joining, bringing Humanly to 50 people.
