Nicolas Cage says he won't work with Amazon again after refusing an AI waiver
The actor told New York Comic Con he declined to sign an AI waiver for 'Spider-Noir.'

Nicolas Cage said on Saturday that he probably will not work with Amazon again after refusing to sign an artificial intelligence waiver for the series "Spider-Noir," the Los Angeles Times reported.
"Amazon is a very AI-friendly company, to the tune of $50 billion invested in OpenAI," Cage said at New York Comic Con. "I am not an AI-friendly actor … I didn't sign the waiver to let him use AI on 'Spider-Noir.' I'm probably not going to be working with that studio again, but that's OK."
Amazon did not immediately respond to a request for comment. The series, which premiered in May, was produced by Sony Pictures Television and Amazon MGM Studios.
AI remains a sticking point in Hollywood, where SAG-AFTRA and the Writers Guild recently secured protections in new contracts, the Times noted.
