Vedula ran the data and analytics platform behind Microsoft 365 and Copilot after 26 years at the company.

Ravi Vedula, a Seattle-area corporate vice president who led an organization of more than 1,000 people running the data and analytics platform behind Microsoft 365 and Copilot, is leaving Microsoft after 26 years, GeekWire reported on Tuesday.
"26 years. It's time," Vedula wrote on LinkedIn. He joined Microsoft in 2000 and was the first engineering manager for Exchange Online.
Separately, Boston Dynamics named Rohit Prasad its new CEO, effective Oct. 7. Prasad was Amazon's senior vice president and head scientist for artificial general intelligence until the end of 2025, joined Amazon in 2013 during the early days of Alexa, and oversaw the creation of its Nova AI models.
Prasad takes over from interim CEO Amanda McMaster. Hyundai Motor Group holds a controlling stake in Boston Dynamics, according to GeekWire.
