Nvidia has introduced a 64GB unified-memory configuration of its DGX Spark personal AI system, available from Acer, ASUS, Dell, Gigabyte, HP and MSI starting Friday, Oct. 23, at US$4,999, the company said in a blog post.

The new configuration keeps the GB10 Grace Blackwell Superchip, DGX OS and Nvidia's AI software stack used in the 128GB model, and supports models of up to 100 billion parameters on device, Nvidia said. Two units can be linked over ConnectX-7 networking for 128GB of combined memory, according to StorageReview.

Tom's Hardware noted that the configuration arrives amid a memory supply crunch, and that 128GB GB10 systems currently sell for roughly US$7,000 to US$9,000 where available.

For West Coast developers running models locally, the smaller configuration lowers the entry price for on-device AI work.
