Jason’s Place has opened Jace’s Checkers inside its Mansion Arcade, giving families an ages-six-and-up strategy game that can be learned in short, friendly turns. The edition uses the same tested rules engine as ARQS Checkers but rewrites the experience for the Jason’s Place world.

Players can challenge Juni at Learning, Playful or Super Clever difficulty, or choose “A friend here” for two people sharing the same screen. The first screen explains diagonal movement and jumping in plain language. Optional hints, forgiving undo language and a badge panel help children test ideas without turning the page into a lesson or an account signup.

The game keeps its progress on the device. No account is required, and saved matches and badges remain in the current browser. That choice supports the small-session pattern of the Mansion Arcade: a child can return to a match without creating a profile or moving play history into a public feed.

Jace’s Checkers still enforces the complete game. Captures are mandatory when available, multi-jumps continue as one turn, kings can travel forward and backward, and promotion and draw conditions are handled by the shared engine. The softer language changes the entry point, not the rules.

The new title extends the interactive side of Jason’s Place Play World, which connects games and activities with the wider mansion setting. Its controls are sized for mouse, keyboard and touch use, board cells carry accessible labels, and reduced-motion support limits animation when requested by the device.

Jason’s Place says the Mansion Arcade will use distinct editions when a game needs a family-specific setting rather than simply embedding a generic product page. Jace’s Checkers is the first Checkers launch under that approach and is available to play now.
