ARQS has released Tillsight Guard, catalogued as KODE-343, a browser tool for retailers and restaurants that want to check point-of-sale activity for revenue leaks.

Users import a transaction journal listing each sale, refund, void, discount and no-sale drawer opening with the location, employee and receipt number. Tillsight works out each employee’s refunds as a share of their sales and voids as a share of their transactions, and flags anyone above limits the business sets.

It also lists round-number refunds, refunds that do not match a sale receipt on file, receipt numbers used twice and days with too many no-sale openings. Each location’s daily net revenue is compared with its own trailing 14-day baseline, so sharp drops, unexplained spikes and missing trading days stand out.

Reviewers mark each exception explained, investigate or escalate with a note. Imports, policy changes and decisions are kept in a hash-chained journal in the browser so later edits can be detected. ARQS says the flags are prompts for review rather than proof of wrongdoing, and the tool does not connect to point-of-sale systems.

Plans are listed at US$149 a month or US$1,490 a year. Online checkout is not open yet; buyers request access by email.

Details are on the Tillsight Guard page, with pricing on the access page.
